"How many of you have wives; how many of you
have daughters; how many of you have sisters?
And I know you all have mothers...
What do you do to help them stay healthy?"
Dr. Doris A. Howell
Imagine the difference you can make when you give emerging researchers the financial support they need to begin discovering how to improve women's health. Thanks to the Friends of Howell, the Foundation has provided 188 research scholarships and contributed over $481,725 dollars towards boosting undergraduate student research efforts. In turn the students' initial discovery pathways will lead to answering complex health questions and finally helping to find preventions, to slow down or even cure diseases.
The Friends of Howell are those who donate funds to keep this vital support thriving. Whether an individual, a foundation, or a corporation, your involvement and giving are exactly what are needed to make a difference.
Howell's 2013 fund raising goal: $120,000.
